License Description REAL ESTATE SALES AGENTS SOC Code 41-9022 Entry Salary $15.60/hr Average Salary $36.94/hr Job Description Real Estate salespeople assist people in purchasing, exchanging, managing, leasing, selling, and renting real estate under the supervision of a licensed real estate Responsible Broker. Requirements 1. Must be of legal age. 2. Complete and pass Salesperson I course. 3. Complete and pass Salesperson II course. 4. Complete and pass Wyoming Law course. 5. Pass National Exam for salespersons. 6. Pass State Exam for salespersons. 7. Submit two fingerprint cards. Continuing Education Salesperson licensees must complete forty five hours of continuing education during each three year renewal period, which must include twenty one elective hours and twenty four required hours. See Board website for lists of courses. Restrictions Conviction of a felony. Falsifying application. Engaging in real estate business for others without a license. Failure to renew a license prior to expiration. License revoked on prior occasion. Violation of the Real Estate License Act of 1971. School Located in Wyoming There are several schools available throughout Wyoming. Contact the Wyoming Real Estate Commission for a complete listing. License Real Estate salespeople must be licensed by the Wyoming Real Estate Commission. New licenses expire on December 31st of the year of issue. After that, licenses expire every three years on December 31st. Examination The examination is computerized and is administered by Applied Measurement Professionals (AMP).
