Requirements Must be certified by the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) OR possess a current professional engineers license issued by the Wyoming Board of Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors and three years of experience in the field of cathodic protection. Restrictions Falsifying license application. Falsifying reports. Revocation by another agency. School Located in Wyoming Contact AMPP for training. Professional engineering training is available through the University of Wyoming in Laramie. License Corrosion Experts are licensed by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). Licenses issued for Corrosion Experts shall expire on the date when the underlying certification by AMPP or STI expires, or on the date an underlying license issued by another state or city expires, or on the date the underlying P.E. license expires. Persons holding those licenses shall renew their license prior to the date when the license expires. Examination Examinations are conducted by AMPP.
