License Description MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE SOCIAL WORKERS SOC 21-1023 Entry Salary $19.71/hr Average Salary $25.25/hr Job Description Certified Social Workers apply social work theory and methods to the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of psychosocial dysfunction, disability or impairment, including emotional and mental disorders, under the supervision of a designated qualified clinical supervisor licensed in the state of Wyoming. Requirements 1 Age of majority. 2. Has received a baccalaureate degree in social work. 3. A passing score on the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) examination at the Bachelors Level or other examination as may be approved by the Board. Continuing Education Licensee must complete a minimum of three hours of continuing education activities in professional ethics and three hours of continuing education activities in suicide assessment and prevention each license renewal cycle. Restrictions Felony conviction. Misdemeanor conviction involving moral turpitude.
