License Description Individuals qualify as certified public accountants (CPA) . To be eligible to be a CPA, an individual must pass the CPA exam and have completed at least 150 semester credits of college education, including: A B.A.e degree or higher 24 semester credits in accounting subjects with 15 credits at the upper or graduate level and 24 semester credits in business administration subjects.
