Baccalaureate Social Worker, Licensed
License Description "LBSW" means a licensed baccalaureate social worker. LBSWs and LMSWs may practice in exempt practice settings under appropriate supervision. In accordance with § 54.1-3700 of the Code of Virginia, an LBSW shall engage in the practice of social work under the supervision of a master's social worker. Only licensed clinical social workers may practice at the autonomous level.
