Nursing Assistants, Certified (CNA 1)
License Description Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) assist licensed nursing personnel in the provision of nursing care. The scope of duties for CNA 1s includes activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, transferring, ambulating, feeding, toileting, and such tasks as measuring vital signs, positioning and range of motion. Oregon CNAs are trained in Board-approved programs and must qualify for and pass a Board-approved examination to become certified.
