License Description JOB DESCRIPTION: A funeral director engages in the preparation, direction, and supervision for the burial or disposal of dead human remains. The funeral director further maintains the funeral establishment and sells funeral service merchandise to the public. In addition, funeral directors' responsibilities may include counseling and comforting relatives and friends, casket preparation, and transportation of the deceased for services and burial.
