Medication Aides
License Description Certification as a Medication Aides. Medication aides administer medications in a variety of health care settings such as Intermediate Care Facilities for the Mentally Retarded, Developmental Disabled Medicaid Waiver Program, Long Term Care, and Public Schools. Under supervision of a licensed nurse Certified Medication Aides administer routine medications with the exception of intravenous, subcutaneous, nasogastric and intramuscular routes.
