| License Description |
Hunting and Fishing Guides plan, organize, and conduct hunting and fishing trips for individuals and groups. Plan the itinerary for trips, applying knowledge of the countryside to determine best routes and sites. May arrange for transportation, instruct party members in laws or use of gear, prepare meals, care for animals, sell or rent equipment, administer first aid to the injured, and pilot airplanes or drive land or water vehicles.

Registration Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Skilled in use, management, and handling of firearms, boats and canoes
- Be safe and competent under all circumstances
- Certified in both CPR and First Aid in a course which requires individuals to perform the practical skill in the course to be certified (online courses are not accepted)
- Hunting guides must show proof of completing a Hunter's Safety Course
- Possess a license for the species for which guiding is being done
- Pass a 50-question written examination and oral examination
- Pass criminal and Fish and Game records checks
Examination: Written and oral examinations required – administered through the Law Enforcement Division
Continuing Education: Not required
Fees:
- Resident Hunting or Fishing Guide: $100
- Resident Hunting or Fishing Guide, over age 65: $5
- Non-Resident Hunting or Fishing Guide: $100
Licenses expire on December 31 of each year
Reciprocity: Not permitted
