Athletic Trainer
License Description Athletic trainers evaluate and treat athletic injuries. The Minnesota Legislature enacted a law in 1993 establishing a registration system for athletic trainers. The Minnesota Board of Medical Practice enforces the requirements of the athletic trainer registration system and provides information to consumers and other interested persons. Stats. § 148.7801 - .7815 Athletic Trainer Protocol (PDF) -This protocol form must be updated and reviewed at the athletic trainers renewal time and kept on file by the athletic trainer.
