License Description Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, a citizen of the United States or legal resident, and be of good moral character and cannot have a felony conviction. Must have done one of the following: a. Attended and successfully completed a course of auctioneering at an approved auction school that is on the list of approved schools. b. Completed a one year apprenticeship with a Louisiana licensed auctioneer.
