License Description Veterinarians treat injuries and attempt to prevent, control, and cure animal diseases. They may treat pets, conduct herd maintenance and disease control, provide health services, and do research. Applicant requirements: 18 years of age good moral character graduate from an approved veterinary school pass North American Veterinary License Exam (NAVLE) Fees: Application: $100.00 Testing: $465.00 (paid directly to the National Board) Renewal: $200.00 (biennial fee - to be renewed by December 31 on even numbered years) Late: $300.00 (biennial fee - December 31 of odd numbered years end late renewal period) Examination: Type: Computerized When: November 13 - December 9, 2006 and April 9 - 21, 2007 Where: Prometric testing centers Repeats: Unlimited
