License Description Applicant requirements: 18 years of age good moral character bachelor's degree from an accredited college with 30 semester or 45 quarter hours in accounting above the elementary level and 24 semester or 35 quarter hours of general business subjects 2 years continuous experience (must include a minimum of 4,000 hours) in public accounting firm OR 5 years continuous experience (must include a minimum of 10,000 hours) in the accounting field in industry, business, government, college teaching, or any combination of the above (which may include public accounting experience) pass a written exam Fees: Application: $20.00 Testing: $655.55, plus $135.00 application fee Renewal: $50.00 Late: $100.00 Examination: Type: Computer-based When: May and November Where: Thomson Prometric Testing Centers throughout Georgia Repeats: Unlimited
