License Description Psychologist Licensure Requirements An applicant for licensure shall meet the eligibility requirements outlined below: Successful completion of a doctoral degree from an approved program in psychology. Programs holding full accreditation by the American Psychological Association during the applicant's attendance meet the requirements for an approved program in psychology. Programs not so accredited are subject to an individual review to ensure that the applicant's psychology program meets the requirements outlined in Section 20-188-2 of the Regulations of Connecticut State See website for details
