License Description A cemetery manager is a person engaged in or conducting, the maintaining, operating, or improving of a cemetery, the interring of human remains, and the care, preservation, and embellishment of cemetery property. Fees: Application and exam fee: $800; License fee: $130; Renewal fee $150. Examination Frequency: 6 days a week Exam Locations: 20 sites throughout the state of California (outside vendor PSI). Education Requirement: High School Graduate. Average Time to Process Application: 20 days Renewal Period: Annually Authority: Business and Professions Code Section 7611.4, 7653.6-7653.9, 7730.8; California Code of Regulations, Title 16, Section 2317.1.
