License Description Persons operating wastewater treatment facilities must be certified. Wastewater treatment operators employed at municipalities or privately-owned wastewater treatment facilities. Fees: The fee varies with the level of certification. Grade; Exam; Certification; Renewal Grade I: $120; $125; $150 Grade II: $155; $170; $150 Grade III: $295; $225; $150 Grade IV: $365; $255; $150 Grade V: $365; $255; $150 Examination Frequency: Wastewater Operator Certification examinations are Computer Based and are available year-round.
