License Description Clinical Laboratory Scientist (also known as Medical and Clinical Laboratory Technologists) Fees: Fees are subject to change with each fiscal year. Refer to the LFS General Fee Information Page for a full list of fees associated with licensing. Exams: Applicants must refer to the LFS Website for the list of approved certifying organization examinations for each license category. Academic and Training or Experience Requirements: Baccalaureate with specific course requirements plus one year of post-baccalaureate clinical training as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or one year of work experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist performing high complexity testing in hematology, chemistry, blood bank, and microbiology.
