License Description Persons providing audiometric services in public schools. Fees: $10 Examination Frequency: N/A Exam Locations: N/A Experience Requirement: Applicant must have at least eight units (quarter hours) of courses in audiology, audiometry and hearing assessment from an approved university or college. Public health nurses and credentialed school nurses may either fulfill the requirements as stated above or have four units (quarter hours) of courses in audiology and audiometry designed specifically for them from an approved university or college. Average Time to Process Application: 4 weeks. Renewal Period: N/A Authority: Health and Safety Code, Sections 1685, 1686. California Code of Regulations, Title 17, Sec. 2950.
