License Description Fees: Fees are subject to change with each fiscal year. Refer to the LFS General Fee Information Page for a full list of fees associated with licensing. Exams: Applicants must refer to the LFS Website for the list of approved certifying organization examinations for each license category. Academic and Experience Requirements: PH.D in biological science, licensed bioanalyst with a master's degree in a biological science, or Physician and Surgeon licensed to practice in California plus four years of experience in immunology, two years of which were in histocompatibility testing, physician and surgeon licensed to practice in California, or bioanalyst licensed in California. Renewal Period: Every two years. Refer to the LFS Website for more complete information. Comments: Clinical laboratory director as defined by law for clinical laboratories limited to Histocompatibility. Authority: Business and Professions Code, Division 2, Chapter 3, Sections 1200-1327.
